When I got my macro lens for my birthday a year ago, I became fascinated by flowers – pollen and stamens in particular. The echinacea (featured photo) was my first shot. It took me a while to master holding the camera still enough for macro shots. The echinacea was forgiving. The clematis (soft blue-gray photo with tendril-like petals hiding the stamen) was this year. I’m much better at supporting the camera now.
